Acceptable Use Policy
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all customers and users of the Leakeo platform. It defines what is and is not permitted when using the service. By using Leakeo, you agree to this AUP, which is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
Permitted use
You may use Leakeo to:
- Monitor the revenue performance of websites that you own or have explicit authorisation to monitor.
- Install the Leakeo tracking script on your own website or a website you manage on behalf of its owner.
- Connect your own Stripe or Shopify accounts via webhook for revenue verification.
- Review and act on incidents and alerts generated by your own website's data.
- Access the dashboard, analytics, and reporting features within your subscription entitlement.
Prohibited use
You must not use Leakeo to:
- Monitor websites without authorisation. You may not use the tracking script or webhook integrations on websites you do not own or have written authorisation to instrument.
- Circumvent security controls. You must not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, App Check verification, or any other security measure on the Leakeo platform.
- Interfere with the platform. You must not send automated requests that place unreasonable load on Leakeo infrastructure, conduct penetration testing without prior written consent, or attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the service.
- Harvest data. You must not use the service to collect, scrape, or extract data beyond your own website's events.
- Infringe third-party rights. You must not use the service in a manner that violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable law.
- Resell or sublicense. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Leakeo without a written reseller agreement.
- Unlawful activity. You must not use Leakeo to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity.
- Abuse support channels. You must not submit false, abusive, or deliberately misleading support requests.
Your customers' data
Where Leakeo processes data from your website visitors on your behalf, you are the data controller. You must:
- Provide an appropriate privacy notice and cookie disclosure to your website visitors, informing them that Leakeo's tracking script is in use.
- Ensure you have a lawful basis to collect behavioral and transactional event data from your visitors.
- Not configure Leakeo to collect data beyond what is necessary for behavioral and revenue tracking.
- Comply with all applicable data protection laws in relation to your website visitors' data.
Enforcement
Leakeo reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon finding a violation, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:
- Issue a warning and require remediation.
- Suspend access to some or all features.
- Terminate your account without refund.
- Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.

Changes
We may update this AUP as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard.
