Terms of Service

Effective: 1 March 2026 Last updated: 2 April 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and Leakeo ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Leakeo platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

Service description

Leakeo is a revenue intelligence and protection platform designed for ecommerce stores and SaaS products. The service includes:

  • A lightweight JavaScript tracking snippet for installation on your site that automatically detects your platform type (ecommerce or SaaS) and adapts its monitoring accordingly.
  • Revenue monitoring, conversion analysis, behavioral analytics, form analytics, and anomaly detection.
  • Incident creation, investigation tools, and resolution workflows.
  • Integration with Stripe and Shopify via webhooks for payments, refunds, chargebacks, subscription lifecycle events, and customer creation.
  • In-app alerts for revenue anomalies, behavioral signals, payment issues, and tracking failures.
  • A web-based dashboard accessible at leakeo.com.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. Material changes to core functionality will be communicated through the dashboard.

Account terms

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately via the in-app support form if you believe your account has been compromised.

One person or legal entity may maintain one account. Accounts shared across organisations require an appropriate plan tier. Leakeo reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Leakeo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not use the service to monitor websites or stores that you do not own or have explicit authorisation to monitor.

Subscription and billing

Leakeo is provided on a subscription basis. By selecting a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate applicable to your chosen plan.

  • Billing cycle: Monthly or annual, depending on your selection.
  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately; the price difference is prorated for the current period.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
  • Failed payments: We will notify you via the dashboard if a payment fails. Continued failure to pay may result in service suspension.
  • Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price increases via the dashboard.

All prices are exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

Data and privacy

Your use of Leakeo is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree to our collection and use of data as described therein.

Where Leakeo processes personal data from your site visitors on your behalf, you are the data controller and Leakeo is the data processor. Our Data Processing Addendum governs this processing relationship and is incorporated into these Terms.

The Leakeo tracking script places an analytics cookie (_lk_vid) on your site visitors' browsers to recognise returning visitors. The script collects behavioral data (scroll depth, click patterns, form interactions, search queries, and engagement signals) in addition to funnel events. As the data controller for your site visitors, you are responsible for:

  • Obtaining appropriate consent for the use of analytics cookies in accordance with applicable law (including GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive).
  • Disclosing the use of the Leakeo tracking script in your site's privacy policy and cookie notice.
  • Handling any data subject requests (access, erasure, etc.) from your site visitors.

If you connect Stripe or Shopify webhooks, revenue and subscription event data (order IDs, transaction amounts, currencies, hashed customer identifiers, refund and chargeback amounts, subscription lifecycle events, and customer creation events) is transmitted to Leakeo for reconciliation and analysis purposes. You represent and warrant that you have the right to transmit this data and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, outages, or downtime.

Current service status is available at leakeo.com/trust/status.

Intellectual property

Leakeo and all associated software, algorithms, designs, content, and trademarks are owned by Leakeo or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Leakeo intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the service as described herein.

You retain all rights to your data and the data of your site visitors. You grant Leakeo a limited licence to process this data solely to provide the service.

Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with these Terms, and not to use such information except as necessary to perform obligations under these Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leakeo's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Leakeo in the three months preceding the claim.

Leakeo is not liable for: indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity; or the actions or omissions of third-party services including Stripe, Shopify, or Google Firebase.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leakeo and its contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Leakeo may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts owed, or engage in conduct that poses a risk to the platform or other customers.

Upon termination: your access ceases, and we will delete your data in accordance with our retention policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive (billing, IP, liability, governing law) will do so.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally in the first instance. If you have a dispute, please contact us via the support form before pursuing any formal action.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
