General

What Leakeo is, what it detects, and who it's built for.

What is Leakeo?

Leakeo continuously monitors your store's revenue pipeline and raises an incident the moment something breaks or starts underperforming. Checkout conversion drops, payment issues, tracking failures — most of these go unnoticed for days or weeks while revenue quietly drains. Leakeo is designed to catch them fast.

How is Leakeo different from analytics tools like Google Analytics?

Analytics tools give you reports to read after the fact. Leakeo actively monitors your revenue signals and detects incidents in real time — telling you when a metric has broken from its baseline and what it's likely costing you. Analytics is reporting. Leakeo is monitoring.

Who is Leakeo built for?

Leakeo is built for ecommerce businesses that depend on online revenue: Shopify stores, DTC brands, marketing teams running paid campaigns, and agencies managing stores for clients. If a broken checkout or a payment issue can meaningfully hurt your revenue, Leakeo is built for you.

What types of revenue leaks can Leakeo detect?

Leakeo detects: sudden checkout conversion drops, mobile checkout problems, payment gateway issues, tracking failures (when purchase events stop being recorded), abnormal checkout spikes, AOV drops, revenue per visitor drops, and mobile vs desktop performance gaps. Left undetected, any of these can cost significant revenue.

What if Leakeo finds nothing wrong?

That means your revenue pipeline is healthy — which is exactly what you want to know. Think of Leakeo like uptime monitoring for your revenue. It runs quietly in the background, and when something changes it tells you immediately. The value isn't just in finding problems — it's in knowing you'd catch them if they appeared.

Installation

How to get Leakeo running on your store.

How long does it take to install Leakeo?

Under 3 minutes. Add one script tag to your site header, then optionally connect Stripe or Shopify webhooks for verified revenue data. No complex configuration — the tracker auto-detects your platform, funnel steps, and order values.

Will Leakeo slow down my website?

No. The script loads asynchronously with defer, initializes during browser idle time, and uses passive event listeners. It has zero impact on your page load speed or Core Web Vitals.

Do I need a developer to install it?

No. It's one line of code pasted into your site header — Shopify users add it to theme.liquid, WordPress users to header.php or a header scripts plugin. Everything else is automatic.

Does Leakeo work with Shopify and Stripe?

Yes. The tracker works on any website out of the box. Connecting Stripe or Shopify webhooks adds verified revenue data, refund tracking, subscription analytics, and chargeback monitoring — enabling features like tracking gap detection and revenue reconciliation.

Does Leakeo work for SaaS and software products?

Yes. The tracker auto-detects whether your site is ecommerce or SaaS and adapts accordingly — tracking pricing page engagement, trial signups, cancellation intent, onboarding progress, and subscription changes instead of cart and checkout metrics.

Data & Accuracy

How baselines, estimates, and confidence scores work.

How does Leakeo estimate lost revenue?

Leakeo builds a historical baseline for each metric — conversion rate, revenue per visitor, AOV — and compares current performance against it. When a meaningful gap appears, it estimates the revenue difference using your actual traffic and order volumes. Each estimate includes a confidence score and the evidence behind it.

How accurate are the alerts?

Leakeo only opens an incident when a deviation from baseline passes a statistical threshold. This filters out normal day-to-day noise so you're not flooded with false positives. The confidence score on each incident reflects how certain the system is based on the available data.

How much data does Leakeo need before it becomes useful?

Leakeo starts collecting and analyzing data from day one. Baseline accuracy improves as more data accumulates — typically over the first few weeks. Most stores see meaningful incident detection within a few days of installation.

Features

Incidents, playbooks, and how monitoring works day to day.

What happens when Leakeo detects a problem?

An incident is created with: the estimated revenue impact, a confidence score, the evidence (baseline vs. current metrics), and a structured playbook walking you through how to investigate and fix the issue. You're not just told something is wrong — you're told what it is, how bad it looks, and what to do next.

Will I get notified when something breaks?

Yes. Incidents appear in your dashboard immediately with alert badges so you can see active problems at a glance. As soon as an incident is detected, it surfaces in your monitoring view.

Does Leakeo automatically fix issues?

No. Leakeo identifies the problem, estimates the impact, and provides a step-by-step playbook. Your team implements the fix. Most issues — a broken tracking tag, a failing payment method, a mobile layout bug — need a human to resolve, and Leakeo makes sure you find out fast.

Privacy & Security

How your store's data is handled and protected.

Does Leakeo collect customer personal data?

No. Leakeo tracks event signals — page views, checkout interactions, purchase events — and aggregated revenue data. It does not store customer names, email addresses, or payment details. Customer identifiers are hashed and never exposed in the dashboard.

Is my business data secure?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on secure cloud infrastructure, and access is protected by authentication. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Billing

Plans, cancellations, and what happens to your data.

What pricing plans are available?

Plans scale with business size, from Starter through to Enterprise. Visit the pricing page for current plan details, limits, and pricing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account's Billing section. No lock-in periods, no cancellation fees.

What happens if I cancel?

Monitoring stops at the end of your current billing period. You'll retain read access to your historical data for a short period after cancellation.

What happens if my payment fails?

Your account will remain active for a short grace period. Update your payment method in the Billing section to avoid any interruption to monitoring.
